The car has a ported IX turbo w/ fp wg on it and Ported mani. A lot more also.
400 can be achieved with better cams, Id say with the fuel setup more likely on 100oct. Unless you beef up the fuel system a little more
I never really let it go, 60k maintence was supposed to be done and then I ran into a few issue. School doesnt help either with that car being a DD. The car was actually about to be brought back before we came to a deal.

Joe, what I was saying is that the Evo 8 turbo only flows 2#/min less than the 9 turbo, so it’s not as big of an upgrade as people think. It has the larger compressor housing which is nice for surge though. And I suppose 400 is possible, but I don’t know on whos dyno. I BARELY made it over 400 whp in my car, so on a mustang dyno, 400 will not be possible for this car. On a dynojet that reads higher, then anything goes
I’d love to make 400 wheel on a mustang dyno. However I know how much more fueling your car has and also miscellaneous shit like better flowing parts (Mivec head) and whatever else snky you have. I hope to make 400+ on a dynojet.
Not that being dyno queen really matters to me. What I want are some serious 11 second passes. I’d wish for mid 11’s but without a serious diet that won’t be happening.

Last year I went 11.010 @ 124.55 mph, and I only had bolt-ons on my car. If you put a real tire on there, and drive it like you have a pair, you can run mid 11’s all day!
The absolute best mod I ever did was the Exedy triple clutch. I highly recommend doing the basics like clutch and tires before spending endless amounts of cash on power adders. You’ll see
The clutch I got in the car right now holds the power fine, but I have been looking at the exedy clutch as well as the quarter master one. One thing at a time, I’d love to rock this thing down the track. One thing at a time!
I currently have the car up in the air to fix my oil leak. Down pipe is right in front of the return line
I don’t like the clutch because it holds power, I like it because it’s so easy to shift and it never gives me ANY trouble. I shift fast as hell at 8k rpm and it slides in like butter, every time… no homo.
I get locked out at 7k
Although thats not bad because I am on the stock valvetrain and old timing belt haha.
I do need to replace the fluids in the transmission and t-case. I feel like it would help a butt load with hard shifting shifting.
Although I really just rip this thing into gears with no lift anyways. It’s awesome.
Ehh you can break into 400whp on a dynojet. Just gotta get together the right parts combo and pick a cool weather day. Plus the e85 addition.
There was this one guy, stock turbo, gsc cams, intake/exhaust, stock ecu, 93 pump gas and one hell of a tune that made 402whp on a dynojet. He was
running a lot of boost, and even had doubters saying he used meth which he wasn’t. Read up on other numerous stock 9 turbo’d Evo’s. Unless it was all BS.
Exedy twin HD is a good candidate too.
