Sock's 240sx Rusto Project (56k, tons of pictures)

your a braver man then I

whats the output of that motor stock?

wow, you VS. Gonad in the take a picture of everything dept.

Good to see some effort going into these chassis, I think you’ll be quite happy with the end result…

You didn’t have a VLSD on your parts needed list, gonna keep it a one wheel peeler?

Also, custom driveshaft…

Plan on having it at Bings St.Cathrines meet for June 10/11?

^^^
He covered the driveshafe a few posts up:

"11. Get driveshaft cut, welded, and balanced to fit "

205hp/225ft-lbs. It was modified a bit - it was floating around the 240hp mark with lots of room for improvement.

Is it wrong to be thorough?

damn, sounds to be an interesting motor.

4 or 6 cyl?

I might actually have a clutch pedal assembly…

its a 4 banger AFAIK

I had to do some “filling in welding” on the front rail and the rear jack point, so it looks a tad messy. Either way, a good day’s work done.

you have to be kidding me…
Dude, obviously its a v7… look at the motor.

LOL you had time to take a picture when something was burning?!? hahaha

great work man. i was wondering what that black stuff u coat your underbody with… is it goop like you said or something? whats the product name cuz i might be interested in some.

It’s just rubberized undercoating. It’s like $5/can.

yea it kinda looks like ‘Rockerguard’ ‘Rubberized Undercoating’ stuff you nomrlally see at CT, it comes in Black and Beige iirc

great work man, your car is the angriest 8) i love it.

Is it wrong to be thorough?
not by any means, its nice to see… I personnally get too frustrated an am usually in a “lets get’r done” mood, and don’t bother…

I think I may have secured a set of pedals via Zilvia, so the project can continue further!
