Then again no one said a KA24E can’t be made faster then an SR20DET it all just comes down to how much money your willing to spend on it.
Im sure it costs more to get a KA24E to 300 hp at the wheels then it would cost to get an SR20DET to 300 hp at the wheels.

It was 1500 Cause Jordan bassically made all the stuff he needed himself. Thats why it was cheap. Everyone thinks KA-T is cheap, yes it is if you are able to Fab everything yourself.

Yes I spent almost twice that to have it sit in my garage but guess what at least when it’s in my car I wont have some tired out KA with a turbo on it, runing into problem after problem.
If you have a KA with low k’s on it then turboing it is okay but if you have a KA with 260,000 k’s on it like mine you will think twice before turboing it, so for me an SR20DET was the best way to go. Or I could of rebuilt my KA or bought another one with low k’s and then turbo it but then I would of spent the same amount of money as I would buying an SR20DET.
Im not going to turn this into an SR20DET - KA-t war, we could sit here and go back and forth all day about what is better a KA-t or an SR20DET but it’s pointless because when it comes down to it, in the end the RB26 owns us all.
…And as for my type X sitting in my garage, yes I know it’s a shame but I could either throw my SR20DET in my car now or
Go and live it up in the Greek islands for 6 weeks. What would you do? SR20DET swap
or 6 weeks of:
Relaxation, swimming and tanning on white Sandy beaches siping on Heineken or on a pinacolada out of a coconut shel, palm trees, beautiful ocean, nice hot weather everyday, partying every night, beautiful women everywhere, cruising on board luxury yachts, island hoping from island to island and not a care in the world.
