Battery died , and i recharched it and tried to start , but it just wont turn over , and advise what to check?
is there any power at all? if theres power try hitting the starter with a piece of wood or hammer or something.
Or u can bump start it. thats where u put the key on the on position. Push ur car forward until u have some momentum, then u jump in, put it into first gear, let the clutch out and when u hear the motor bog a bit put the clutch in and hit the gas at the same time. its very effective.
Its not turning over at all. Hmm are you sure there is power, is there lights and stuff in your car? Even if the lights are working in your car it could be that the battery doesnt have enough power to crank it. Mine is doing the same but i know it starts and drives when i get a boost. Remember not to leave ur batterys outside in the cold or it will drain it.
Also just try get a boost from your bro, so you know the battery is good. You might want to check grounds. I highly doubt its ur cables but you never know. Also clean terminals.
actually, the BEST place to store a battery is in the freezer as cold temps reduce the rate of discharge.
because sulphuric acid has a freezing point below -50C a fully charged lead-acid battery (34% sulphuric acid, 64% water) will not freeze in our climate unless it has discharged enough to compromise the freezing point of the electrolyte (a fully discharged battery is 100% water and will, therefore, freeze at 0C).
it’s only when you try to start the car that the cold battery rapidly discharges due to the slower electrochemical process (if you try to send too much current through the battery while it’s cold, it is unable to replace the charges on its terminals quickly enough and it’s voltage sags).
TwoFourZero, chances are your discharged battery froze and the plates shifted… time for a new one (might want to invest in a trickle charger as well).

I charged the battery and i have power in the car , just the battery power drains really fast ,im going to try my brothers battery , but if its the starter will hitting it with a hammer really help?

if you look in the engine bay, its on the left side under the intake…umm sohc…really its close to the firewall under the intake…thats best i can say, has 3 wires going to it, 2 medium sized ones and one small thin one, and it connects to the transmission to give you a ideao…
what is the shape , colour size? anyo f the , cause im going to go show it whose boss
