Not the best condition, but would make a great parts car. Drives fine, save for a screwed up linkage for 4th gear. Owned it for a couple months and within the last month put on all new belts, new battery, new vaccuum pump, new alternator, one new control arm (right rear) and a few little misc things (couple new fuses, few new gaskets, lightbulbs, etc).
Can post pics tomorrow, but looking to get rid of this thing ASAP because I need the money.
It’s red.
It’s 5 speed.
The timing belt was replaced within the last month.
There is rust, again, it’s not in the best condition.
There is 230k on the motor, unless MPD47 did an engine swap that I never knew about. I’ll ask him tomorrow or he can post in response.
No, I don’t have any pictures at all, I will post some tomorrow.
I don’t know what the wheels are, to be honest, I’ll post pics of them tomorrow.
The car is stock, save for a newer trans that Mike put in.
It’s missing the entire backseat, but the rest of the interior is tan.
I don’t know if they are sport seats, but I’ll grab pics of that too.
There is no radio included.
I’ve owned the car for the winter as a beater. I wanted to part it because I know I could make quite a bit more off doing that then just selling it as a whole, but I just don’t have the space or the time, and could use the money now as opposed to later.
It drives fine except for fourth gear which doesn’t work because the shift linkage was done incorrectly. It’s completely fixable, I just never got around to letting Mike, who I bought the car from (and who had installed the new trans) fix it for me.
To be a good driver you’d want to fix the linkage (I drove it for all this time with no fourth gear and it was never a problem, but it might get annoying for some people), get a new gas tank (it leaks if you put more than 5 gallons in it, but that’s good for about 100 miles) and possibly put in a radio if you care about that.
