some car info

Alright, im looking for a car, and yes, im cheap, i was gonna go for the S15 front end converison anyways and i thought maybe i can get a car that has been in an accident. mainly looking for a S13 but im still interested in the S14.

Now my question is, where can i go about in finding cars that have been in accidents that i can fix up? Secondly, is it worth it to fix up a car that has been in an accident? any info/comments greatly appreciated (unless ur making fun of me cuz im cheap :()

depends on how bad the accident was…

some times it isnt really worth it to fix. . but if come across a really good deal then jump on it… s13 are good for the track and are cheaper s14 are nice but more money soo theres a difference !!

i have a friend who got a S14 that was in an accident (got it through a friend so he cant help me there), it was dirt cheap and all that was wrong was that the front bumper was damaged, left light damaged, the intake filter box was broken and hte rad support and front were a lil out of shape but to me, it looked fine, nothing a hammer couldnt fix (bending the frame back, im not a wacko, i swear). i want something like that, but i just dont know where to look. maybe it isnt worth it, fixing the damage and all

be sure to check the car, if you find one, in the engine bay along the bottom of the strut tower where it meets the frame rail.

front end collision cars have a tendency to tear there or the metal seprates since it is not very thick to begin with.

check it for alignment problems.

make sure the hood, fenders, and bumper will still fit well or else your going to have gaps.

check for punctures in the rad.

thats about all i can think of for now.

good luck with your search.

Selling my S14 for $5,000. Let me know if you’re interested and I’ll give out the details.
