ASAP= as soon as possible last time i checked FGGTS. I have tons of patience, i havnt even been to the track in almost 2yrs. Just need to get some stuff finished up then make some monster jam, hopefully.

ok, here are some quick and dirty shots of whats going down. Im not happy with the angles on the sender making it difficult to run what i want but here is a quick shot of how i did it with the 90’s. I didnt have any straight bulkheads so ill pick some up tomorow morning and see if i can make something better/cleaner work.

here are some of the return side which has me scratching my head a lil bit. I know theres a tube that runs from each side of the tank, but im kinda curious as to why bmw taps into it with the return hose. If anyone knows if thats important or not im all ears, otherwise id love to just drop a line down into the tank and let the tube level out the gas.

im gunna try to figure out a way to make the pressure side look like the return side with the straight bulkhead.

ok, i think ive got all the fuel plumbing done and figured out. I used a 90 -8an fitting and drilled a hole in it so i can tig an 5/16 barb onto it for fuel return.

I also welded up my -8an union and then drilled a 5/16 hole into it. This is acting like a restrictor to ensue that the jet pump on the driverside sees equal pressure and continues to cary fuel over to the pump side.

here is a pic of what it looks like assembled

here is a tube ill be running over from the driver side to the pass side so i dont over fill my driver side with fuel. I pretty much fed this along side the stock syphon tube in the tank.

and here we are all finished up

I also managed to clean up the pump side and barely had enough room to squeeze a straight -8 bulkhead to eliminate all the 90’s i had in there.

now all i need to do is wire up the bosche 044 and im still debating on how i wanna do that.

i took jons bov apart to get rid of the red anodizing that was on it, apperantly jon got hold of the one and only 10w30 shooting bov tial ever made…lol

note to self, weld bungs before runners are welded. was super shitty trying to work around the runners. oh well, its done. Ive installed 2 egt probes for now since im runnin batch injection. 1 probe for 1-3 and another for 4-6 until i can run ms3 and log all 6 at once.

manifold wrapped and installed. Only took like 3hours to wrap and im still not realy happy with it. runners were too close to each other that i couldnt wrap certain areas like i woulda liked. ill just have to get it coated eventially.

Now im trying to decide if i realy wanna recirc my dump or not. Im runnin a 38mm wastegate so i understand im flirting with creep however i dont realy plan on runnin low boost. It will be easier to flip my wastegate and just dump to atmosphere but if i decide to recirc ill have to unwrap my downpipe and start fabricating more which im realy sick and tired of doing.:frowning: i just wanna bolt this shit together already. If i do recirc ill do it right below the bend of the downpipe on the lower pressure/flow side of the pipe.

here is a pic of the dump tube i made with some scraps i had laying around the shop luckily. looks like atmosphere dump for now but easily can be modded to recirc later.

even had enough argon left to make some rainbows too. I accidently left the argon on and returned to find about 400psi left in tank.:frowning:

and a couple shots of the engine bay with the DIY turbo wrap from thermo-tec. found at summit.

as you can see i still have plenty of room for a few sheets of paper inbetween there.
