i need a bike :frowning:

hahha that’s more like it…i did a full nelson into a commando grab-hitchhiker front flip 3 legged dog power slide…my chest still hurts from bouncing off the bars

Pics turned out pretty nice

nice pics. loam = win

i see bics rides like he drives!

Blasting through soft turns are tons of fun except when you’re following and have to pick sand from your teeth for days.

Big thumbs up from me on the pics.

hey smokey…reeds came for dads 85 today i still need to find him the stock sprokets tho

thanks Munster…Bmeanie, if u dont need Genuine Honda parts, check that Dennis Kirk place and see if they can match Sidewinder sprockets for the CR. that place usually carries alot of the old-school brands, so i bet they can get u something…it just wont be exact OEM Honda.

i don’t care oem or not on this bike i did look there all i saw were rears…they did have on the last page a couple pics that showed both but the description just said rear :dunno:

i also think it’s jetted too big, right before it ran out of gas last night it ran (for what it is) amazingly well…then out of gas

well i would think that the front would be easier to match than the rear. maybe call the 1-800 number and talk to someone one there. they should be able to match u something.

jetted too big as in running rich?

yeah, soon as she started fuel starvation she opened up and caught me off gaurd…it boggs reaaaly bad i’m hoping the reeds i bought help out

ya, just keep at it. sometimes jetting is a bitch. the reeds usually help from idle through the low-end of the power. if its bogging anything after that its your needle or pilot and if its mid-top then its the main. if u continue to have problems PM eurodad, he knows more about it than i do…he might have some tips.

basically it boggs until it hits the powerband and sometimes a lil longer but when it opens up it’s ok, it’s geared REALLY short tho so you’re not in gear very long and you’re out of the power band again. i wound this to the rev limiter in my yard along wiht my kx, i can only get 1/2 way through 3rd on the kx but i’m hitting the limiter in 5th on this bike that’s how short it is

ya, well see what the reeds do and go from there. one thing u gotta keep in mind is that old 125s r tuuuuurds compared to the new ones. 125s have come along the most since that time, in my opinion. you cant even compare your KX to that. that CR isnt gonna run really clean off of the bottom end (as bottom power was non-existant in those days on a 125), just because of the way its designed. also its a way slower revving engine than your current Kawi. so thats not saying that the CR is supposed to run crappy, but it will never run anything like a newer 125.

well i would understand that but it actually runs good if u stay in power…soon as u let off and get back on it it’s like the plug is foulded up (no power at all won’tgo up a hill in 1st) then pull the clutch in, revv it a few times, take off…works ok

what sizes do u need

i dont know about that a 93 -97 cr 125 was a monster i know the 125 u are talking about is a little older but i had a 97 cr 125 (mike winslow race prepped ofcourse) and tat thing would fly when i used to race 125c and get runover in the first turn i used to love blowing by thoes little bastards on that old peice of shit … but anyway the problem with thoes eightys bikes is the goddamn suspension … :dunno: and if u want bottom end buy a thumper
