Someone didn't tip me today...

i meant if it was a problem because of a lack of income ALL pizza boys would get milage… you stated some do, and i went off again to explain some people, in the same industry, get perks others don’t. re: jeans on friday. if it were a true problem it would be an industry standard.

so suck a dick and comphrend.

actually she does.

ever read a job agreement? you know, all those annoying papers you sign when you get a job?

there is no waitress job out there that the employer doesn’t require the waiter / waitress to act civil and provide the ‘best service’ possible.

you aren’t comprehending.

pizza drivers who make mileage generally make much less hourly than I do. it evens out.

not as week as the inital post of this thread from a self proclaimed genius :dunno:

aside from large chains like Damon’s, i’ve never worked a job where I’ve filled out anything other than a W2 and an I9.

go back to the kiddie table… grownups are talking.

sonny and i might be having a stupid discussion, but it’s staying on one topic.

not if i came to agreement when being hired that it’s not a ‘perk’… ya know? i can’t just say after 2 years… my buddy at mellon can wear jeans, why can’t i??? :emo:

i’m just saying, suck it up… there is no industry standard on milage for pizza guys or wearing jeans for cmputer guys.

I understand where you’re coming from. My point is only that if you are “good” enough, and your company values you, you have a little bargaining power if you decide you want more perks later.

and it’s not important to me… i’d feel like an asshole wearing jeans to work.

LMAO

I wear “street clothes” everyday.

Dude ALL companies have a policy and procedures manual and if you didn’t sign it its in there so look.

i never wear jeans.

khakis > jeans.

really? tell that to Alioto’s Pizza. or Domenico’s. or Pizza Roma. The extent of my training was “the cash register is over there”. Dude.

Ignorance is not an excuse to knowing how your company is run or what rules there are.

well bring me one,i tip!

i swear you’re retarded.

there are certain things implied when you take a service job. i just said that i didn’t SIGN anything.

where was the wings he was supposed to bring yesterday???

price of chicken went up. i wasn’t going to get any kind of discount on them. plus i said i MIGHT bring wings.

i ended up bringing five cases of soda instead.

So you are saying that your shops IMPLIED proceudres are to do burn outs or purposly damage a customers order because he/she is known to not tip or tips too little?

wow that sounds like a swell place to order from… :ugh:

idiot.

what i’m saying is that it’s IMPLIED that i give the best customer service possible… which I do for deserving customers. If my negatives outweighed my positives, I’d have been fired long ago, because I’ve done some really prickish shit to a few of our customers.

 did mom and pops commidity broker call that morning with weekend updates on how the market would open Monday? :burnout: jk

See this is where decisions like that are above your pay grade. There is no IMPLIED rules that dictate diviating from good customer service, based on your opinion to who is a deserving customers…

Bottom line and I’m sure your owners would agree, you treat EVERYONE reguardless of what you encounter as a customer so they keep coming back. Staying in buisness with a good name is probably a higher concern than what joe bob didn’t tip you for what ever reason.

If joe bob payed for his food but didn’t tip you I can bet your owners could care less and arn’t going to pentalize him because he shorted you a buck or two “extra”.

lol… no. chicken has been steadily increasing in price since a week before Hurrican Katrina… i wouldn’t be surprised if we’re taking a loss on wing night now.
