Someone didn't tip me today...

you’re a fucking idiot. i never said there was an implied rule for deviation. i said it was implied that i give good customer service. i CHOOSE to deviate from said implied rule when i am insufficiently compensated by a customer. Because of the infrequency of my need to do this(?), I am never reprimanded.

I do a lot for the customer. I have a few customers who are bed-ridden that I let myself into their house and set up their food for them. They don’t tip me more than a couple bucks, but I do it because they’re regulars and they always have a buck or two for me on top of the price. I deliver to a severely retarded couple, both in wheelchairs, whose house smells so much like piss that I vomitted after taking food to them for the first time. They never tip me more than $1.50, but they never stiff me either. When people have special requests (pick up a gallon of milk on my way, pack of cigarettes, meet me at the pool in my yard) i usually do it.

I am a very good server UNTIL i am given reason not to be. I go off on less than five customers a year, and Alioto’s has been in business for at least twenty years. A woman I told to fuck herself back in the spring ate there less than four days later. My occasional retribution has no impact on anything other than my stress level.

please someone end this retarded thread…

your the one who started it :jerkit:

so delete it yourself…

in some instances this is correct… but if you are paid good but under appreciated, you have no leverage

LMAO

I wear “street clothes” everyday.

i used to dress down when i worked in greensburg, now i work in oxford center downtown and think anyone in jeans looks like an asshole. haha

so being a driver that doesn’t make milage, you’re pay is higher, thus evening out

you please comprehend.

‘industry standards’ (code of ethics per business) > personal experience

This is now officially the worst thread I’ve ever read on Pittspeed, Kudos.
