Picked up a dell laptop and tried to install a dell copy of XP. Well it installed and has zero drivers. Looking for someone to put a fresh copy on for me. Will pay with food/beer/money. Just using the laptop for Coding my car.
Just a thought download Windows 7 off the internetz and install that 
Will probably have all the drivers and be faster than XP
All the bmw programs work much better with XP

This is how it always is and you have to go to the dell website,enter the service tag and download the appropriate drivers.

Is XP installed and running, just without the Dell device drivers? That would be easy, download drivers to a flash drive from another computer and install them. There’s no way around installing the drivers unless you run 7.
He’s dropping it off tonight, and getting it tomorrow after work… Ill get it situated for him.
I’m far to lazy to mess around with it for a hour or 2. Ill wrench on a car anyday. But installing XP drivers ill leave to someone else.
