Symptoms: check engine light is on, runs fine up to about 55 mph then starts to shake like hell. It feels like the engine is hesitating. I didn’t think I would make it home. All the fluids are fine, engine temp is good, nothing is leaking anywhere. Any ideas?
The infamous Overdrive not kicking in right away maybe
assuming you drive a Ford:D

I didn’t know they do that. What about advance in BV?
auto zone use to i think … until they ewre pulling codes and then it wasnt fixint the problem so autozone stopped that from what i believe.
also advance doesnt do it either
Sorry to hear about your van Roland, what were you doing that could’ve caused this problem while driving? :dunno:
wtf??? like all those shit auto parts stores don’t run obdii scans? where do you guys come up with this shit?
roland… take it and scan it…
Auto Zone says they can pull the codes from “certain” OBDII systems. I didn’t know your make/model/year. So yes, they still do it.
I called Advance and they do not do that. I need to find someone to take it to that can pull the code.

ohhh im not too familiar w/ fwd trannies and issues w/ them. when you say at 55, is it right after the O/D shift? it could be the O/D band not working correctly
plug wires maybe?
