Bing, I can’t really remember anymore, but how much do those ARP wheel studs go for? $3.50 per stud?
my major issue with these spacers is that the stud hardware is far below OEM spec. In the past i have used H&R, TF and other spacers… the studs have failed very often… failed on the H&R (they fell out of my car on the highway) and the TF ones literally stripped completely apart.
I have Peak studs on my car because i got them for free, but i wouldnt even recommend buying those.
The only wheel studs that should be used are ARP wheel studs. They are basically invincible.
They do not make 12 x 1.25 applications but they do make 12 x 1.5 applications that will fit a 240sx knurl.
Yes is cost more to put ARP studs in your car than it does to buy generic bolt ones like the Ichiba ones… however, if you have ARP extended studs you can literally change the diamter of your spacers as you wish.
If you own the same car for a few years, which i have, and switch between wheels often for the track, street, drift, winter etc. you can change the width of your spacers to suit your wheels for flushness, coilover clearance, caliper clearance, etc.
and you have a wheel stud that will never fail…
H&R stud fell out on the highway? How many you lost while driving?
I’ve been running H&R studs and spacers for more than 2 years and I never had any problems.

the knurl on the studs stripped…
i think it was the TF ones that i lost on the highway… i cant remember… it was like 5 years ago.
Mark,
the ARP studs are that price for S13 and S14 rear only… the 5 lug fronts are like 4 times more but still worth it.

I’m running H&R 25mm 4x114.3 spacers all around. No problems as of yet, and the SE-R Spec-V rims look exponentially better when they aren’t sunken in.
H&R spacers are extremely high quality. You won’t have any problem with snapping studs. I have been running 25mm H&R spacers for over 4 years now on the street and at the track. I’ve had no issues.
I also have 30mm Project Kics spacers and snapped a stud once.
