Well i just got pulled over and got my first speeding ticket 161 bucks plus 3 or 4 points damn it i was doing 58 in a 35

well i do work in gibsonia and live in butler 30 minute drive
it was in meridian in butler and the cop was in an unmarked blue impala
plead not guilty and send in the 50 bucks. wouldnt hurt to try to cut a deal. 4points hurt.

They have been crazy up there. Gearhead and I saw like 3 different people pulled over with in 45 minutes a couple of weeks ago. I’m always super scared up there… 
you have to sign the not guilty part of the yellow ticket that the cop gave you and mail in a check or money order for $50 as a court fee which is refundable if you are found not guilty. if you are found guilty and have to pay a fine the $50 will count towards your fine.
I just cleared my record of all points

i was just going to send the money in cause i can barely afford the ticket let alone the 50 bucks plus my only chance of being found not guilty is if the cop doesn’t show up

Nope, it’s still like that:
the 50 bucks count towards your ticket if found not guilty. plus, you probably wont get a court date right away so you’ll have time to save up for the fine. i’ve delt with this so many times. my lawyers advice is always plead not guilty. it wont hurt you.

that ain’t shit, 90.5 in a 40 and it was a “safety corridor” 350 fine 60 seatbelt fine still paying that shit and i lost my license for 15 days

I’m in the same situation right now with a 66 in a 40. July 6th is my date.that was a $177.50 fine :doh:
i got reckless driving 270 bucks 6pts and 6month suspention. plead not guilty went to court, was cool about it. got off scott free.
just got taken off my record thank GOD my insurance will goo down soo much now
