Spitzer: "No new taxes... but please ignore all those new fees"

Good to see Spitzer renew my faith that there is no such thing as a good Democrat.

For a couple months after he got into office I was actually starting to think he might be good for NY. Sure didn’t take long to go from “steamroller” to “tax and spender”.

about to read the article, but i’d like to add that it pisses me off when wgrz opens and enlarges the window to full screen and i have to shrink it back down by manually dragging the corner.

so sick of the term tax and spender like republicans don’t waste any cash the government takes in…

however cliche terms and taglines help spread the word, so  to them for giving it an easy term for people to remember, true or not.

Another great Spitzer plan:

Sell the lottery, something that is the closest the state can get to printing their own money year after year, for a one time shot of cash.

And yeah, I’ve emailed WGRZ multiple times bitching about that auto-resize.

“Too often in Albany we talk about ways to raise more money let’s talk about ways to cut spending and make government more efficient.”

makes sense to me

:ham: I really don’t like spitzer

Republican stands for smaller government and less taxes. Unfortunately Bush skipped the day about smaller government and only attended the day where they taught less taxes.

I think he skipped the day on how not to speak like a retard too.

Higher car insurance to pay for bridges I don’t use? Taxes on out-of-state internet sites? That will blow.

Screw democrats.

seriously. and all the (bigger) bridges that require maintenance have toll booths to gain revenue
