Sporting Clays and Trap??

There are places that shoot sporting clays nearby, nothing that I"m aware of in Pittsburgh. Nemacolin has them ,although it’s stupid expensive. I’ll take to my buddy, he’s big on sporting clays and see what he’s gotto say. There are local courses near Greensburg if I recall…

I have shot a little bit of trap before. I want to get into a trap league this summer. I know mcrea gunshop in fenelton has sporting clays, and most sportsmens clubs have trap. Fenelton is between butler and kittanning

go downtown and shoot the flying rats AKA pigeons. it’s more fun anyway

I work at Nemacolin I can get REALY good prieces for people to shoot there.I just would like to try some place else.

Ah, interesting, I’ve never shot down there…there is a course right around Greensburg somewhere but I’m drawing a blank on the name. My buddy at work that would straighten me out on this is on vacation so I’m SOL…

Remember the live pigeon shoot in Connelsville about 10 years ago? No one asked permission because they knew they’d be denied, but the sportmans club showed ukp about 6am one Sunday morning in downtown Connelsville, down by the bridge over the Yough where there were a TON of pigeons and let er rip. Easier to ask forgiveness than permission, heh. Helluva way to wake up…

Wexford has a range where you can shoot trap or skeet, but you must bring your own equipment. I have been itching to try out my new benelli 10 and I have a mechanical thrower so if the weather breaks here, I would be more than happy to go out and shoot there.

1B6- I’d love to shoot at Nemacolin, will they let me on hte course without head to toe Barbour? Joking aside, I’d be interested if it’s doable…I haven’t shot an event for 5 years, but always looking for the right oppurtunity to come out of retirement.

Do you have a over and under or a semi?If you have a gun and shells it is cheap to shoot there.If not it is pricey.I have a few shoot guns you could use.Let me know I’ll get us booked.Thanks
