me and mark might make a “rental” 305…he has a few guys interested one guy from ess 360 wants to run it once with crsa…ive been thinking about building one with used parts for people to try the only thing is, when you wreck it whaddya do then make the renter pay for damages??? renting one would be expensive too…methanol plus tires plus transportation adds up quick

the guys that race them pretty much are good drifters.
i think a drifter would be able to push the boundarys a little bit further and know how much more they would handle in the corners…most guys run a different groove then what a drifter would use…a drifter would go high low high where as a sprint car driver would hold a steady line
I saw them last year at volusia county speed way and 2 years ago at el dora. Really is the best show on dirt. The 4 wide is nuts. Wish they still did the start that way. Ever see them run at syracuse?
i was supposed to go to volusia next week but its not gonna happen…ran with them out to utica rome last year…qualified 17th fastest…only 360 car there and the only open trailer there…had alot of fun and it was nice to be one of the lowest budget cars to make the show…was truley a blast…ran with jz and tony stewart 2x last yr…hope to run with them a few times this yr…planning on going to lernerville and then to sharon and eriez this yr…made it to sharon and eriez but had trouble adjusting to the different tracks…

the problem with “washing up” on the way out is b/c of loose dirt sucking you into the wall …aslo everyone runs a different line. a running " high low high" would be cutting people off on the bottom…it would work for time trials but nothing else…if you watch modifieds then run " high low high" but so doesn’t everyone else…sprints are unlike any other car on the track…you’ll get 3/4 that run a " mid mid mid’/ “low low low” and you’ll have 1/4 runinng “the bowl / the rim”… although alot has to do with track conditions 9x out of 10 youll have people running different lines

the guy to watch next year in the 305’s and 360’s (even though he’ll prolly stil be in a 305) is Josh Pieniazek…this man is on fire srsly…he kicked some ass at fonda in a 305…didin’t win but put some 360’s to shame in a 305…he’s consistent…very smooth…any 305 driver will tell you he’s one to watch out for b/c he WILL go around you… he came in 5th this yr in points over his car owner Warren Alexson in the 3a who finished 10th in points
the 360 driver to watch out for imo is Dylan Swiernik…fucker is young and fast…came up in go carts and has raced with the best…2010 rookie of the yr ascs patriots…
