threaten to go to verizon…worked wonders for me
the absolute key is getting away from the business department…once that happens, sero is practically yours

I’m going to get off the business account tomorrow. I can always get back on it. I’m getting 21% off with it now. I can always use the 25% off hospital discount.
I talked to so many reps, I hope they don’t have a red flag near my name though.
I want to get the PPC-6700 and they say I need the Power Vision. I thought it only needed regular Vision which is included in SERO. Most of the reps at Sprint CS don’t know much more than the person calling.
power vision is included in the sero plan
the key is getting off the business plan
the woman i talked to was also nice enough to give me nights at 7 for free for 2 years
but the key is getting off the business plan
b/c they are the dumbest fucks ive ever spoken to
Persistance pays off. I think I talked to 50% of the Sprint employees out there.
I dropped off the business plan and then made about 10 calls to different numbers until I got a CS rep that knew what to do. The phone he was on was crappy and I thought was going to cut me out every few seconds. But he apologized and put both my phones on the SERO plan effective tomorrow.
Getting a new phone for the wife and a PPC-6700 for myself
Then in a few days, I’ll call and get the 25% off rate for the company referral.
Thanks Evolve. Wish I could buy something through you still. I’ll still refer customers to you though.
welcome to sero my friend
btw, whats the 25% off rate?
Call business department and tell them the name of the company you work for. My wife works at Roswell, so I get 21% off. I meant to type 21% above.
Some other companies will give more % off. They give them pretty freely, but the bad thing is that you get moved over to a business account. But then again, you just signed up for a 2 year contract, so it won’t make much of a difference since you won’t be changing plans for a while.
Now I need a deal on a 6700 asap. I want to play!
ugh, its not even worth it to go back to business plan…i SERIOUSLY mean that too…
I ponder it also, but 21% is a good discount
Update: I should have my PPC-6700 in a few days
dude, they call me 5 times a day trying to say i still owe them money even though it doesnt show up on sprints website…those people dont know shit and they are leeches…
i dont think u can get the discount and be on sero. one or the other.
if u get on it, awesome.
so what are the plans they offer…
and jsut to make sure…this does include power vision?
if i could get a new phone discount i would do it… i hate not being ale to get a rebate.
so switch to sero. put money saved in HSBC high interest, FREE online savings account which is now at 4.8% APR.
watch savings grow each month from money saved and interest, then buy yourself a nice present when there is enough in there.
just got off the phone…LOL…i think this was the easiest and quickest customer service i have ever had
big
i tried doing this and they told me to call #REF from my phone which is just a menu based system where they want to know who referred me. for you guys that have done this switch successfully what did you say exactly to the person you were speaking to at Sprint?
You guys must have good luck, I’ve called 4 times and have gotten nowhere. 2 people didn’t have any clue what it was, 1 person said to call #REF which got me know where, and then another person “spoke to their supervisor” and came back saying that I cannot switch and would have to cancel my account and open a new one through the SERO webpage. This is starting to be a pain.
EDIT: I tried again today and got switched to the SERO plan
^^yea…from reading a lot of diff forums…it took people a while to do this…cause most of the reps have no idea what it was. When i called…the rep that i was talking to had no idea what it was…i was really nice and what not…she searched for it and found it right away. I guess i just got lucky only having to talk to 1 rep.
a question i did have…anybody that did switch to the SERO plan…did you have a discount plan on your account before switching? and if so…were you able to keep the discount with the SERO plan?
I did some reading on other forums about applying discounts on the SERO plan and it seems to be hit or miss. Some people are getting their corporate/business discounts applied to it others are told they can’t. I guess it’s another case of what rep you get on the line.
yea…hmmm…i guess i’ll jsut find out on next months bill…
either way…i’m still saving a lot of money
