there is no fucking ground wire on the starter. it is grounded through the casing you dumb fuck.

***to the OP, are you sure the starter signal wire connector didnt fall off? it is a little single plug wire. it can fall off, happened to me.

hey, if you look in my last pic that i posted, just in front of the oil filter, you can see the the signal wire connector that is connected to the starter…
a little black wire that bends at a 45 degree angle…
that was the first thing i checked…
