Thanks, at least I had something to track down.
I traced the brown wire to the connector near the battery and I had power to one side of the clip but not the other… I fixed that and still don’t have power at the O2 sensor for the heater… There must be a break in the wire somewhere in between. I also checked the readings right at the O2 sensor for the signal wire and nothing there eigther.
A friend of mine near by has an ecu I can borrow. Hopefully I’ll be able to eliminate that from being an issue. I’ll likely drive it until I store the car and then pull the harness out and look for any other bad spots in the wiring.
Well thanks again.
O2 sensor is no good, I’ll have to get another.
Thanks for all of the help again.
Damn… your the dude from London without an IC eh
or the pictures I saw last you didnt have one and the turbo was just routed to the TB…
hope you’ve got one now
nice msn convo…
Yes, thats me…
No IC yet, my gf and I just bought a house with “fixer upper” qualities and the IC has been put on hold for now. I’ll likely store it soon anyway. I have a savings set up for the winter to get some of the other stuff done as well (the house also has a 2 car garage with heat and hydro).
1 more question
I read a replacement O2 sensor is from an 87 300zx turbo.
I have an old cross referance chart that says a 91 sentra SER is the replacement.
Are they the same? What would I need for a '91 red top, stock manifold.
The middle wire of all 3 wire Nissan O2 sensors is signal. The outer wires are +12 and gnd for heater - order doesn’t matter.
