Ricer hood scoop lets GOOOOOOOOOOOOooooooo
Braaaap
This thing is so awesome. I love it.
I need that door tirm piece and an oem roof wing if anyone knows of any junked wagons lying around. The JDM STI roof wings are just way to big for me and so is the “ssport” one. I just want the us oem little nubb thingy
Reminds me of a vehicle that should be in HALO.
2.5rs engine… do it
thats what i really want to do. i just don’t know what that would entail or cost
No you don’t. Keep the 2.2, best motor they made aside from the 3.3
If you ever decide to sell this car you let me know
I think he said it’s a 1.8. Can’t the 1.8’s be swapped for 2.2’s pretty easily?
I thought he said it was a 2.2 wagon. I’m probably wrong.
Is this a first for you? :rofl

yeah its a 1.8, I thought it was a 2.2 at first because 95 was the change over year before they all went 2.2. If it was a 2.2 I’d be perfectly fine
Wow that sucks. My Subaru had the 2.2 and was still probably the slowest car Ive ever owned. I cant imagine how bad the 1.8 is.
yeah luckily I drive 5 blocks to work everyday and occasionally to clifton park so not much highway driving.
Scroll down to “Is there documentation for a 2.5 swap”
It honestly sounds like one of the simpler swaps out there
yeah but its not perfect which is something I don’t really want to get into in the car that I want to be the most reliable car I have. You have to cobb job some shit and splice some wires and then it will only run rich at best
2.2 motors are bullet proof though so go with that and throw a turbz on it and make it one fun daily
^ Truth be told here.
Or find a 2.2 longblock and have 2.0 twin cam non avcs heads welded/milled/installed and just run the 2.5rs electronics. Be the most reliable subaru you could ever own, and make enough power to keep the car fun.
2.2 should be a direct drop in correct? would it plug into the harness in my car now and just use a 2.2 ecu or would i need harness ecu everything
Sams legacy has a 2.2 and its automatic and I’m so much happier driving that cause it can actually get out of it own way on the highway. Going from her car to mine seriously feels like there is something horribly wrong with my car even though I know its running perfectly.
I’m thinking the cats may be getting old/plugged because every now and then under heavy load the car gets that smell to it. Don’t know if I should just pull them or replace them. New cats will cost me almost as much as I paid for the car
