Also, the Super 16G turbo is different than the one in the Evo VIII. If I’m not mistaken, the VIII’s turbo is reverse rotation in addition to being twin scroll.
I know the EVO’s turbo is either a 16G or a super 16G. I also know that the turbo that would come in the kit that I’m buying is a “HRC/ Mitsubishi Super 16G Turbocharger”. So I did a search for that turbo being that the kit I’m buying doesnt have it all I came up with was EVO VIII turbos…oh yeah and EVO III turbos too!
Just because 2 or 3 differrent turbos have a designation of “16G” doesn’t mean they’re the same, they’re not.

The whole “thing” is pretty stupid. If I have extra money, I’m saving it to put into a better car, not to make mine look stupid.
I’m in it for show and speed. it’s just that i dont know much about speed right now and thats why I’m on here. I’m not looking for sympathy. I’m not trying to start a fight! I’m just me…loking for how to’s! Like I said, I like hondas & acura’s. I have nothing against them or their owners. I’m just tired of seing them everywhere. I’m not saying my cars faster (it has the potential to be) but its not! I think civic’s can be impressive actually other than the ecotec it’s the only other FWD 4 cyl. THAT I KNOW OF that can get over 900hp out of it. I respect it…but like I said a million times I’M TIRED OF SEEING THEM! I catch shit all the time cause I have a cavalier, I guess you could say it’s my turn to give back to the community.

Sorry to be a dick about it but im not into the car show shit. PLUS i see more 240sx’s than anything around now a-days. To take your side actually the ECO motor is the best thing going for the PRO racers (sport compact that is). GM is unstoppable there… beats honda , nissan, and mistu. Although I think mitsu (AWD) is the best street platform but I owned one and it broke more than its worth. I started with a honda so I know them, thats why I race one. Plus quite a few v8 guys on here actually like the thing for what it is.

Just because they dont agree with you, doesn’t mean you can force your opinion on them to show they are wrong. Just sit back, chill, and take their advice. You got some good advice from ZEXAccord, now take that into consideration, and start saving money to have your Cavalier boosted!

Is it stupid that he wants to boost his car? I dont think so? Let him be! its HIS project, it’s HIS money, HIS car, HIS decisions. He came on here for some pointers, at least let’s try to help him out instead of bashing the kid. Just because he owns a cavalier and wants to boost it doesn’t mean you can just flat out tear on the guy…what if we all started tearing on you for owning a SRT-4? I’m sure you would get defensive and start to run your mouth on the persons car who is contesting you. Just like how Yellow Cavi is getting defensive because you are attacking him and his car!
