Ok, maybe BigEd was still drunk lol
4140 lbs? ouch that’s heavy as fuck
for some reason those JEEP SRT8s haul fucking ass
wait nvm : 13.5 seconds, source dragtimes
they easily dip into the 12s stock, its because they’re AWD
[sarcasm]Wait it was orange? Weird! [/sarcasm]
race meeeeeee
there was a black v8 one at Empire last sunday. It was running high 14’s most of the day, however a new stock 5.0 Mustang was running consistent 12.8x’s. About time ford got in the game!
The new '11 GT is a beast.
I thought I got the first one, but yeah you pulled away the second time. That is if that event even ever actually happened at all :snky:
New Challengers arent really impressive at all. I ran one recently and pulled away easily. And from what I read its a 13.1 car on its best day.
The story is that the SRT guys put just a “tad” more R&D into the Jeep SRT-8 because it was the vehicle of choice for them personally during the winter, as an alternative to the Vipers that most of them drive over the summer. The Jeep is the 2nd fastest SRT vehicle behind the Viper.
I still think its funny that the “performance tires” on the Challenger/Charger SRT are narrower on the back BY A GOOD MARGIN than the Jeep SRT… and its fricken AWD too! If they would have just tubbed the Challenger/Charger, and put some MEAN tires back there with a good bit of gear, it would have helped the cars case as a muscle car dramatically.
