:picard:
basically my rich jewish buddy was planning on buying one and it was a big dissapointment
looks were awesome
they gave us an auto instead of a stick, so maybe thats why it was so fucking laggy, im sure the viper tranny would of made a difference
the interior was alrite except for the plastic bezel covering the shifter
another noticeable thing: going from a 2400lb car to a 4500lb car, i felt like i couldnt make a turn
all in all he decided not to buy it, to each his own i guess
o thought i was gonna leave like this
but i left like this

for some reason i would imagine the Challenger would handle better then a neon.
have you ever been to an auto-x event?
neons>>>
yeah that’s a pretty silly statement
Fixed.
Then a neon what? WHAT THE FUCK DID THE NEON DO?!!??!
Edit- I think the ass end of the Challenger is hottttt, but the rest of it is okay. The interior is absolute garbage.
that car is a screaming turd, also the auto is faster than the manual, the manual has the wrong ratios to utilize that motor.
i dont want anyone to think i mbashing it, i just expected more for 43 grand, ive driven a 74 before without powersteering and it felt a million times nicer and ballsier
welcome to new cars. where the feel is taken right out of them from the factory.
The auto srt8’s have a factory learn period of around 1500 miles. After that the car is a totaly different animal! TRUST ME

I was thinking this type of neon… if it can really out handle a Challenger sucks to be that old guy with gray hair i see driving around. Im sure the car is still fun for being a tank though.
I test drove a Charger R/T and SRT-8 along with the Challenger R/T and SRT-8.
They are fun cars and they handle ok for how large they are. I personally enjoyed the Charger more then the Challenger, but both cars felt almost lifeless unless driven at the limits.
I would take an M3 over either one any day, at least you still *feel like you’re driving a car.

Its a dam blast!
I would much rather be able to fish tail around a turn then use the hand brake to get side ways in a neon. I wasnt talking about a SRT4 by the way.
