the laminate is much more scratch resistant then traditional wood flooring…

this stuff is AC3 Rated, which is the highest wear resistance for residential flooring… its one step below comercial grade…

eh, if you keep your wood floor coated it is pretty durable. my dog loves to spin the wheels and we’re not very good about clipping his nails and our floor is fine. if you’re out of wax/clear coat then yea, it’ll scratch to shit.

+1 I love the laminate we put down in the dining room. My 90 lb dog hasn’t put a mark on it. Easy to clean, zero waxing or any of that garbage, looks as perfect as the day we installed it.
