I understand that, but you have to agree that certain vehicles are built better than other ones no matter what price you buy them at. Either way, my questions have been more or less answered so thank you.
Suby Outback or a '08+ Saab 9-3 Wagon w/ AWD, either one with studded Hakka’s! The parts are all available since they are shared with many GM cars. Plus SAAB values tanked since they are no longer…

you wont regret buying this.
Agree - if it runs god, you simply can’t beat 1500 bones
keep in mind this is coming from someone who uses their personal van as their livelihood. If my van breaks I make 0 money and every day it is down cost me the repair bill plus lost work plus the potential to loose my contract which would really alter my life. Assuming you are in the same boat don’t be a cheap ass and go buy something that is not a POS. You can get 2010+ full size vans for under 5K-10k all day. Every single one of them is going to suck on gas unless you get a diesel express like I have which even with a DPF delete and a light foot I only get 18.5mpg with mixed driving, or go buy a sprinter and get in the low to mid 20’s and you can get AWD with the sprinter or you can get AWD with the chevy in gas if you hate fuel economy. I don’t do deliveries in the middle of the night but I have to park in snow banks on the side of the road all winter long. put some beefy tires on it and do work. If you do not earn enough money to purchase something that is not a utter piece of shit then you should re evaluate your job. DirecTV is hiring. They will issue you a van to take home that is new (imagine that they don’t use old shitty vans) and you wil get a gas card. It cost you nothing to go to work.
The only thing with a the 4.0l jeep is the horrible gas milage
I imagine at that price, that thing prob. was sold pretty quick…
Too bad your budget wasn’t higher: http://fingerlakes.craigslist.org/cto/5130636943.html
my legacy went to the junkyard not because of a broken engine/trans(at about 240K on the original engine) but due to rust, that thing was a tank
i paid 900 for it when i bought it and the only thing that needed replacing was the ALT, there are cars under 2K that will work for him
other than fixing headgaskets, my old green Outback NEVER gave me problems or left me stranded.
Yeah, didn’t have time to respond originally but in college I had a 93 legacy wagon bought with 216k that was a tank and still ran great 15k later when I upgraded. I know these didn’t have head gasket issues but subaru’s are seriously reliable. (the non turbo ones at least)
Hahaha ^ thanks guys!
P.s. phone font sucks!
My winter ride, 36000lb. Yes, I’ve gotten it stuck
I was waiting for this thread to go full nyspeed…it has now on page 3…
what if you bought one of those can am mavericks or Polaris RZR’s? I heard if you purchase out of state you can get a title for it and register is as a vehicle, has the “bed” of the back of the 2 seaters, 4wd, get good lights, radio, and you can enclose it. awesome toy to have and awesome snow work vehicle
Those are cool but who buys those things? I can’t believe enough people want and can afford one to justify making them.
