the cowboys were a good test for the steelers but after this bye week they need to address their problems and get ready. NE and Philly arent going to be a joke and make stupid mistakes that lose games i.e. vinny fumbling and setting up the steelers winning drive. i dont know if anyone realizes but the steelers were 1 play away from losing that game. i know a win is a win but luck played a part in that game.
also anyone know anything about kendrell bell coming back anytime soon?
If I was Kendrell and I saw that Hampton was hurt, I would just keep saying I was hurt whether I really was or not…
I do think Chad Scott is that bad, but I think he’s there b/c he’s a sure tackler, he’s just horrendous in pass coverage. Before this year, we had no backups at cb that were worthy, so I could understand why Scott was in there. This year, we have a rookie with alot of promise, but not ready to start, and a 2nd year guy with alot of promise but used to be a WR in college and is still learning the position, so therefore Scott wins starting job by default. I think if Colclough starts well see the same thing from him that we’ve seen from Roethlisberger (i.e. not too sure about the rookie stepping up, but steps up well and does reasonably better than the guy that was at that spot previously)
P.S. - Cutty, whats up with Jarvis? Hasn’t played in two weeks, resting him for the playoffs?
jarvis got a hamstring injury. he may see action this week but resting him is the best bet cause they can’t beat these teams without him, the defense is SOLID!.
the steelers looked pretty descent this week - next is to end New England’s streak

We don’t have a prayer against new england unless they really fuck up bad. if they play a descent game and we play our best game, it will be a little closer. They have a great team.
i think the steelers have a great team except our lack of shut down corners. we are solid everywhere else. the steelers usually can do what they want on offense or defense and it works. i hate new england and would love to see the steelers beat them to end teh streak!
have you seen him play in all the games? the first 3 games chad scott was playing outstanding football. in fact i think he played better than anyone did in their only loss to baltimore. he’s had a lot of great plays and he’s been defending a good bit of passes week after week. he’s definitely not the best in man to man, which is why he gives so much ground on the line and gives up those shorter pass plays so often. right now though, he is the best they’ve got. he can actually catch the ball most of the time and get the int, unlike some members of the defense. to sum it all up, he’s making a couple million dollars being “a fucking bum” while so many others are stuck watching.
idk if u saw the holding call on hines that wasnt holding even as the announcers said…that brought duces 23 yard run back??? that killed that drive…i bet they would have scored there if that didnt happen…and idk about you but what about the times when hines and ohters where well out of bounds…and still got hit hard…no flag there…ppl will always be partial to the cowboys b/c they were americas team, a bunch of drug addicts and what not…

i think we can give it to new england…maybe win…brady hasnt been playin great ball the last 2 weeks…its mainly there defense thats doing the job
