One key thing this weekend, Corey Dillon was out. I agree it was a good showing by the offense, but without a running game to contend with it made it easy to shut down the offense. This week will be the huge test with a very balanced attack to contend with. If they can shut down everything this weekend then they will have some stake to the claims being laid to them. I think like was said before though, the secondary is gonna be in for a huge workout with the way McNabb can spread the ball around and the way TO can exploit people. Hate him for his personality all you want, but the guy is damn good at what he does. Should be a very interesting game.
cory dillon isnt gonna make up for much when they had -1 yards rushing most of the game…also, the pats got beat in every aspect…cory dillon wasnt on defense when they knew we were gonna run and duce and jerome still picked up like atleast 6 yds almost every carry…pats= fucking smoked. end of story…start a eagles thread
If Im thinking right patriots running back faulk was the back the used when they went to the super bowl. Brady is the patriots man so there were noi excuses they got beat.
The Steelers dominated their offensive line so bad that Walter Payton wouldnt have been able to run on them. Cant do much when you are getting hit the second you are handed the ball. Steelers pwned the Pats. And the Patriots game was 100x more important than the Philly game. beating the Pats may well give us home field advantage throughout the playoffs, which would be clutch. Beating the Eagles would just be a feather in the cap.
:wtf: um…did u even read my post. i agree w/ everything u said. my point of that post is that the pats got beat in every aspect and cory dilon wouldnt change that
