I am interested in how this was accomplished
Haulled on it, pulled on it, wrenched it back and forth. Got nothing. There was some mystery glue on the donor vehicle that may have had something to do with the resistance. Never seen that on any other vehicle and it wasn’t on the project vehicle either. Project vehicle came of easy.
Steering wheel puller sort of broke it loose and then I just gave the wheel a yank and it came off. So, all in all it was a combination of puller and the strong arm advice.
I did find a good face saving strategy in all of this. Get in the back behind the driver’s seat. Take long arms and reach around the back of the front seat and grab the steering wheel. Yank feely knowing that the seat will save face if the wheel comes off too quickly.
