wow…what a read. all 4 pages. I’ve had a bad experience with a towing company that was contracted by the Niagara Falls Police, but holy mother of god, that dude’s story takes the mother fucking cake!
wow. i’m glad the cops printed the car.
my car got broken into a shop this summer along with a few other cars to cover it up (most likely an inside job) and the cops did nothing. i did get the shop’s insurance to send me a $2500 check though.
this guy’s lawyer must be having a good time.

this guy MIGHT not get anything out of the impound lot, however, he could sue the police for it beacuse they could be deemd responsible. I ahd to brief a case for one of my classes where (in short) a guys car got wrognfully impounded by the police and while it was in the impound lot, it got stolen. The owner went after the police for whatever and won. then he tried going after the impound lot and the court said that it was the police department’s responsibility because the car was brought there under thier orders or something like that. anyway, the police ended up giving this guy a new car. im gonna save that link because i would be interested to see how this turns out and if the police have to end up paying for it or the impound lot.
but yeah, i feel really bad for this guy.

I hate to say that cops are ignorant, and that essentially they are good… but this changes my views. I know that it’s one guy doing his job bad and it effects ppl more / more publicly thana someone at micky d’s giving you the wrong burger… but they should be screened/ doing a better job than the 16 year old kid at macdonalds.

normally I’m not like that… but fuck it. maybe them loosing $$$ from the asshat will make them come down harder on the officer. When he first told him that he had PROOF he wasnt racing, it should of been the end of it.
