Used to be intermittent a while… now every single time i hit new posts after signing in whether it be a day or a week later “no new posts” but there are “posts updated within the last 24 hours.”
do you have tapatalk on your phone?
I do not. However I don’t use my phone to browse forums. This is all from the most updated Firefox version
…and as I open a new tab with “new posts” there are now new posts. Very strange.
Clear your cache/reboot computer.

Make sure you don’t set it with the search.php?searchid=XXXXXXX.
