We are trying our best not to release too much in the photos before the shootout. Pretty much just the detail pics, but there’s so much awesome to cover!!
Got the rest of the purple anodize pieces back, the fuel cell was anodized clear.
We’ve still got to finish the engine harness, interior, exhaust, put on the doors, and lexan window install, and a bunch of details in the engine bay.

They are sanding the clear off the Seibon doors, then re-spraying a matte finish to match the legit dry carbon hood and trunk we have!

Should just spray the carbon white to match the car, “showing off” CF is lame IMO. Looks great though!

It’s carbon fiber, if it’s sprayed a full color, it will look like, pardon me, ass. It will never look good, the weave will show, the bumps will show… meh.

random trivia: The Ferarri F40 had a lot of carbon kevlar and the paint was so thin you could see the weave through it.

We got the compressor cover back from Justin at Detective Coating to match the valve cover and it looks mean!!
The wiring is coming along… slow but sure. I don’t envy that job!
But the purple wire is cool.
The sanded and satin-cleared carbon doors are on the passenger side with lexan installed! I am banned from taking full-on shots of the car until after the shootout! So you’ll just have to wait.
And… yeah. Getting kinda tight on time with 9 days left, but we are on schedule!
Do we at least get dyno vids before the shootout?
