JUST got it all together, and I’ll put a video together of a walkaround the engine bay soon.
Emery will be chiming in soon, so please: Questions and comments are MUCH appreciated!
It’s only been together for 2 days! So we haven’t been to the track yet…
STM Evo vs 2008 ZX14 bike
…But at least we know where we stand.
Whats the exhaust now, open downpipe? And, any plans for a new rear bumper, if you don’t fill it in with an aluminum / Ti exhaust?

Thanks!
We are probably gonna do an exhaust out of .065 aluminum to keep the weight down. It will be stainless to about 15 inches after it gets under the car.

damn alum exhaust your crazy
Not afraid of bugs in the turbo?
how are u liking the coilovers? did u go with the street or race version?
i was thinking about picking up some race coilovers for myself, trying to take some weight off this pig
Turbo says I love bugs. OM NOM NOM NOM
looks amazing. I’ve always liked this car since the 50 trim.
2 questions though…
Why did you decide to make the manifold out of a mild steel rather than say stainless?
Won’t having an aluminum exhaust be an issue? I’m assuming that it could possibly melt, but I dont know. Possibly a cut out of some sort for track use I’m assuming?
Not hating, just wondering.
i love how clean the engine bay is. Damned good job, very nice setup. PLEASE coat the header. That would kick it up a notch.
wow all i can say wow, love the color, the setup, the plate everything! But arent you afraid of bugs/gravel/debris flying up into the turbo? Also can you make other manifolds besides dsm?
Shit, Looking good…
That plate is amazing as well…

oh, well than carry away good sir! Didnt watch any of the videos but I’m sure this thing hauls ass.
shazzam, looks really good. Keep the hotness coming.
afraid of rocks?
SS browns like that outside the TIG’d region… and aluminum exhaust is actually pretty common.
turned out nice
I thought aluminum melts at 1200? a quick google search says the same.
that turbo setup looks evil, haven’t seen one rotated out the front yet.
