STOCK ls1 (intake) vrs Victor jr intake. Dyno back to back. check out the gians

Stock LS1 (1999) swaped in a 1955 chevy, th400.
LS1 intake, unported TB, (running a 90 bend with a big 9inch cone) LS1 cam, springs, manifolds. Got it running tuned it, made sure it was a good core.

Then customer wanted to make it look better with visual things, and wanted this victor jr. intake and TB style.

Only change was a put of the box vic Jr, the rails, and a FAST (accufab) 4150 TB (no spacer) and a 14x3 air cleaner.
Was surprised to see this power curve, 100% stock internal.

Was not concerned about power loss or gain really, this is a show car, street cruiser. But surprised at a stock 1999 LS1 cam valve springs, making power to over 6K.

Damn, I wasn’t expecting that much of a gain!
