A friend of mine had his quad stolen the other night from his house. I know there’s some people on here from Altoona. If it wasn’t dismantled…it’s very recognizable. Every part on it is easily distinguished.
Here’s the information (copy & pasted):
"Stolen monday night at about 11:45 by a couple of kids. (Heard them start it down the street. Didn’t see them. )
it is an 04 yfz 450 blue with a k&k tribal flame graphics and seat cover
chrome axle
anodized blue bumpers
anodized blue skid plates
and it’s really loud has a 12 inch carbon pipe on it
also has a homemade rear grab bar and the subframe is bent. "
I know it’s a long shot, but just figured I’d throw it up here just in case.
It has nerf bars on it and the fenders are cut. The tops of the fenders are there, but there’s no back to the fronts and the fronts of the rear fenders are gone. Also has a custom grease fitting on the rear end. NAC number plates too.
A group of guys followed a set of tracks last night, but didn’t find anything.
I think I seen a few of you guys down @ the car show 2 sundays ago. About 8 hondas w/ FMIC. Didnt see you guys cruising around after though. But in any event we see alot of quads come in and out around here so I will keep my eye out on that one in case it comes through! Sounds like a nice quad. Hope we can get it back for you and hurt a thievin bastard!

Ebensburg Cops found the quad at a keg party last night that they busted between Colver and Nicktown. There were a few other stolen quads there. The kid that was on it ran when the cops came, but the host of the party had a prior record and narc’d him out. Ends up the kid is 16 and is from Ebensburg. There’s a warrant out for him.
My buddy Don got the quad back this afternoon and it’s a little beat up but not horrible. they cut the rear fenders a little more and hacked the grab bar off of it. Tires are worn but everything’s there.
Too bad we didn’t find them first for a vigilante justice, but at least it was found. :bigok:
