So it’s kind of a Auto-X for teenagers without having to be a course worker?
My wife was always suggesting something like this when I was involved with SCCA. I took the idea to WNY SCCA a couple times but it never went anywhere.
 to BMW CCA and TireRack for doing this. It’s something that’s SEVERELY missing from US driver’s license testing.
SCCA should realize what a great marketing tool this would be for them. I guarantee at least one local news will show up and cover this and the transition from doing something like this to marketing SoloII is a no brainer.
It’s less of a full course autox and more broken down into drills like “wake n brake” “slalom” “lane change” “parking in the spot without hitting a cone” “texting and driving” and “skippad with water/corn on a portion”
etc
anyone interested in instructing should contact me with their full name and cell phone #
otherwise please share this with teens and their parents.
Nice.
A skidpad with corn on it? Sounds like this could be a spectator event too
It is riotously fun, especially if the kids bring mom’s minivan and let me run it through the combine (at the end we string all the drills together into a mini autocross)
No firearms training?
Totally read that as something else. Which applies to being that age…
This is what I had in mind.
I almost typed it as something else.
