Stretched tire size?

  • one on that, check with the manufactures specs for the tire & the size. look at the tread width dims. they vary ALOT between manufactures at a given metric size. a 265 for X company might be 9.5" wide where a 265 for y company might be 10.25" wide.

I have 255/30/20 on my 20x10 not a big strecth but you can deffinetly tell and it looks good. I will try to take a pic and post it up. I also have 225/35/20 on my 20x8.5 in the front

275 is a 10 inch wide tire approx so anything under that would technically give u a stretch (this is not gonna be true for every tire though), i had 265s on a 10 and u could tell it was a stretch up close but it didn’t look stretched at all. for the front u would have to go w a 215 or 205 as 225 would be an 8 inch tire approx.

I have 215s all around, 9.5 in back and 9 in front

sick ^ but lots and lots of low, i just want a slight drop and am planning on poking the wheels a bit more, now they sit flush with 15 offset

edit - pics of my current set up 255 front and 285 rear

shitty iphone pics

I’m thinking you want to keep as much rubber on there as possible, but then again you’ve changed the offset and you have to take a hit somewhere to make those big ass rims work, lol!

If you guys are going to do this bullshit, at least go for a serious stretch so it looks like you meant to. The pics in this thread look like you just cheaped out and picked whatever tire was on sale. 195 on 10" or stop being queers.

^:lol YES!!! Brake cleaner FTW
