Hmm…most of the stuff at HF is junk, but the Pittsburgh stuff ain’t that bad…

haha, just go PLUNK with a ballpeen and they shatter? heh

:number1 Hey,we had to do that this one time!

This isn’t caused by the lugs not being tightened properly in the first place, this is because the hub that the wheel rides on isnt clean so it doesn’t sit perfectly flush like it needs to. Letting the wheel rock back and forth ever so slightly causing the lugs to loosen as the wheel moves on the hub. Clean your hubs and the inside of the rim and you shouldn’t have this issue anymore.

As for the Tq. wrench debate, the main issue with using an impact is idiots that have no idea what they are doing tightening lugs down to ten times what the spec is, not so much the trained professional that uses an impact to snug the lugs and a tq wrench to tighten to spec.

this reminds me of the time I stripped the head bolt on my motor, we went through 4 blades before I cut the head in half to get it out.

yea i almost think the guys in the thread going on about how nice of wheels they are are just as bad as the guy that cut them up. they are pos junk wheels

what wheels ARE they?

i use a impact ith a trq stick to tighten shit ya just gotta use your head on what your doin
