Hello son, today I was looking at my strut towers and saw a little rust. Sooo I started poking around and grinding away to see how far the rust extended and this is where I’m at:
Does this look bad? Easy repair??? I’m thinking that the spot welds will have to be drilled out and will have to cut out a new rectangle plate to replace that piece, correct me if I’m wrong.
easy job. to weld. cost you little to get it fixed.
thats an easy one to do… if i had a welder handy id do it for dinner. Find a bud with a welder and bring him a case and should take maybe an hour.
This makes me feel better lol. Anyone happen to know what gauge steel to use on the strut towers? It looks pretty thin… Thanks Nissan!
