hey guys, i have an exhaust leak on my 240sx and after looking closer i realized that on half of the exhaust manifold is not bolted on the engine, there are 4 studs either missing or broken off on the engine so i cant bolt on the rest of my exhaust manifold. only one side is holding it on, and it sounds horrible. does anyone have any ideas how i can fix this? or know somewhere that can for a good price?

buy new studs and put them in. if studs are broken off in the block then weld a busted screw driver or something to the studs and twist them out.
ive tried welding but could not pull it off… any other suggestions?
^ Bring the head to a machine shop before it’s completely fucked, though if you tried welding and couldn’t get it, you probably already damaged the head. It’s not that expensive to get a machine shop to remove the studs for you, and it’ll be done right.
They can probably do it with the engine in the car, but it might cost a few bucks more.
Worst case you will have to drill out the studs and retap it for new ones.
