TORONTO – A teenage driver has been charged with stunt driving after being caught allegedly going 240 kilometres per hour [~150mph] on Highway 407 Monday night.
Ontario Provincial Police officers apprehended the man around 10:30 p.m. at Weston Road.
The Black Nissan GT-R was clocked at 140 kilometres per hour above the speed limit.
Vince Lisi, 18, of Kleinburg has been charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, stunt driving and fail to surrender driver’s licence.

Police say driving over the speed limit, especially 50 km/h and above, can seriously limit the car’s ability to maneuver.
“The speed of the vehicle, you think you’re in control, but if you have to take evasive action for any reason, you may not be able to regain control of the vehicle,” said Sgt. Schmidt. “It is deadly.”
saying a GTR would perform the same as a live axle mustang (presumably their benchmark) show how little the law makes sense and how tinny their pig brains are.
