something is resetting the security level in my internet explorer. And when I go it to manually enable everything, it just reverts right back to disabled as soon as i save the settings. Every single thing is check disabled. Does this sound like a virus?

hehe… just dump the garbage… start - run = msconfig … click startup tab, dump all garbage…
if you want to get it… boot windows, hit f8 for selective startup and then hit safe mode… run adaware / pest patrol in safe mode and it’ll kill it…

msconfig wont work. “windows cannot find msconfig” blah blah blah…

maybe if you weren’t downloading infected pRon / movies you’d be cool :tounge: but seriously… we need to dump those processes and make sure they aren’t loading on startup… there are numerous ways to ensure that a deleted file is reloaded on reboot (many more ways if i was hacker smart :hs: ) … one is opurtunistic locking, meaning once the process starts, it’s golden…
so you need to run msconfig (user friendly) or sysedit (non user friend) or regedit and dump those bastards, reboot and clean!!!

download RegCleaner… it can delete hidden stuff from your startup…actually its a nicer then using msconfig http://www.worldstart.com/weekly-download/archives/reg-cleaner4.3.htm
