Internet explorer windows keep popping up with bullshit. maybe 2 every 2 minutes. can’t get rid of them. didn’t accidentally click anything that would bring a virus, nor do I download music. but obv something happened.

I have symantec, and every time a bullshit ie window opens the symantec opens, but nothing happens, and it doesnt say anything. I did a virus scan, but it got me nowhere.

they only pop up in ie though. and I use mozilla. can I just delete Internet explorer? I tried under add/remove programs but no luck, it just keeps refreshing it or whatever

Look into hijackthis.
Try a virus/spyware scan in safe mode.

To get in safe mode tap F8 as you boot up your computer

better back up ur files first.

Probably better off NOT backing up your files. If your already infected with some virus who knows what files have been infected…

what do the icons say. Peerguardian is also a great way to stop those
