So this is a deal. My lady leased this Lexus a year and half ago. Recently got a promotion which came with a company vehicle (free gas included) that is fair game to drive for personal use. So for us to keep something were paying $530/ month for plus insurance to not use is stupid.
We already lost are ass at the start with the down payment, but now were willing to loose are ass a bit more. She’s decided that she will cough up another $4k to be done with the car.
Here is the numbers:
Current payment $522 / month
x 18 months = $9396
$9396 - $4000 (cash handed to you) = $5396
/ 18 months = $299.77
If you fall in love with the car, end of term buy out price is $28,569.45
Millage allowance is 12k / year = 36k total
Currently at 18k at exactly 18 month point, which is right on par.
There is a lease transfer fee (which we will cover) and a credit app from Lexus Financial that needs to be completed before the transfer.
Other than that, car looks just like it rolled out of the showroom yesterday.
