I’m lookin’ at a 2WD/ Front wheel drive 1993 SUbaru Impreza L. I was wondering if anyone knew if it had a Limited Slip Differential or open? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

I guess they do. The first year, 1993, Imprezas has 2 wheel drive, which Subaru called Front Wheel. Although I read online only the 1.6L motors had front wheel and the 1.8L had all, I’m still nto sure. Anyone know on here?

they did make front wheel drive subarus, I don’t know if they were limited slip thou, I pretty sure they were not because they were usually the very very stripped down model

You can’t seriously be looking at a 2wd suby and be worried about how good the front diff is.

FWD Subaru, unless it’s triple digit in cost and in mint showroom condition why would anyone bother. So many other, and “usually” better FWD options out there.
