You tried it on the track, exactly. Yes it’s faster on the track, but no clutch pedal = no fun on the street, and I will never ever change my mind on that.
By the way, i know it’s a dual clutch automated manual, I know all about these transmission, but to me, it will always be 2 pedals = automatic.
Also, I find they have it backwards, the “faster on the track” transmission is on the model with leather, sunroof, navi and 10 speaker sound system. lol So obviously, it’s a car aimed at street drivers, now everyone knows that these transmissions don’t work well on the street because the computer needs to switch the manual gears for you and it can’t do it smoothly.
Also, this new transmission has to be sent to Mitsubishi Canada everytime something happens, the dealers can’t even check it, let alone fix it. That doesn’t sound very good to me.
