me and my bro just swapped his 240sx’s subframe and then found out that the wheel barings on his new subframe arent good, there was a thread that said that the hub and the bearing should just fall out but it wont budge. he has a his old subframe with good bearings but the bearing wont come out. does anyone know if its a bad idea to change the whole axel hub? (bearing, brake sheild, hub)
It’s fine to change the spindle, easier than swapping bearings. easiest way to get the old bearings out is by threading in the 4 bolts that hold in the bearing part of the way, then hit the head of the bolts with a hammer to push out the bearing.
