That sub/amp/box combo is crap, If your looking for something cheap your better off buying something used locally.
With that said, Either one of those kits will work. You need power wire, ground wire, remote wire, and RCA cables. 8Ga wire will work, but I would suggest buying a 4ga kit so if you upgrade to a larger amp, you wont have to re-wire your car again.
that amp doesn even have an onboard xover your subs would therefore play full range resulting in a good possibilty of blowing factory speakers i forgot the tech term for it but reason being is the two differant size speakers playing the same frequencies cause distortion. i know im close at least.
HOLY CRAP that amp is a POS, my friend had one, it put out around 60-80 true watts, and broke 2x… And those subs? Useless… But thats about all that amp can drive. Id look into something better, thats just crap. And both the wireing ‘kits’ you posted were 8 ga wire…
8ga is useless unless your running less than 400w, even then i would run like a 6 or larger.
I ran a 0 ga for my 800w amp, and it loved it… But that might be a hassle to snake through your car. Oh, and if you want power, dont run your ground through your body, run a + and - right off the batt…
Lets recap here, spend $100-200 on a decent amp, $100 on a sub, and i suppose you can buy a premade box that it fits in. Run 4ga to the amp (possibly for the ground also)
And you should be doing ok…
