Summer Car Plans

I think the Kouki tails only look good with the aero kit, otherwise they look out of place. I presonally would put 5-600 usd elsewhere

Ditto. At a later date they would be nice, but not right now

turs out im not buying that car after all i heard that it had 140XXX km’s on it but after a test drive today came to discover it has 259XXXkm’s so im on the hunt for either a 180sx, 240sx, or maybe a sylvia so if any of you guys know of any good deals hook me up

hahaha yeah this summer is about starting over with a new car …best of luck to you in finding a good s13

There is that one in Calgary for sale that has an sr already in it.Might be a good catch for $8000.

To actually drive it would be a nice start

Plans:

Suspension
New tires
Clean up motor
Move Fuel cell into back seat and seal it off.
Roll bar?.

Didn’t you already do suspension? I seem to recall you went with KYB’s w/ GC Coilovers, and (Suspension Techniques?) sway bars. Did you not install that stuff yet, or are you switching plans again?

I hear ya on the “clean the motor”… Heck, I’ll never get everything properly cleaned in my engine bay unless I pull the motor. D’oh!

Sway bars, strut tower brace, and rims/tires sometime this summer. Rims/tires will probably be last, because I’m reeeaaaally picky :stuck_out_tongue:

simple

low 14’s

Humm maybe some new air fresheners and maybe even a cell phone holder  . Actually I just want to drive it and be happy!

Werd…

Yeah, I have all the suspension, but believe it or not, I still haven’t installed it yet :frowning:

I’m sure I could get soooo close to high, HIGH 13’s is I got that suspension in <sigh> Time is always against me…

I did my engine bay on the weekend, it took me a good solid afternoon to finish, my fingers are killing me this morning! What a shitty job but the payoff was awsome, its so nie and clean all the black crud and grease build up gone!

Cool! Where are the pics??

So what cleaning products and method(s) did you use to get that nasty job done?

I used a heavy duty spray degreaser although I could not bring myself to just spray in on, so I sprayed in onto a rag then wiped and scrubbed. Rinsing frequently then to the wash bay when I was finished for a final rinse.

I also found popsickle sticks worked great for scraping, crack the stick in half creating a sharp edge. The wood is soft enough to not scratch off the paint but gets the big chunks and those hard to reach spots. It makes for a lot less scrubbing.

I didn’t snap any pics since I have to re-polish my intake and pipes after the wash bay. I don’t think pictures wil do it justice anyway but I will throw some up soo just to see.

lowered, system, and hopefully rims, and a security system 8) but that’s huge coin, i already have the springs, and part of the system…other than that (the more expensive part) i donno

I am getting ahead of myself on this car stuff … all I want for summer is something nice to drive really

That’s about all I will do or can do. After market parts for my car are imposible to get so by the end of the summer I will be upgrading my ride. Probably a 240 or JDM car.

Ok well I know you guys all got summer car plans so lets hear em.
For me, new springs, maybe struts if i go lower then 1.5" and then it’s time to save the dough for a little boost

Sell both Nissans.Buy an Audi

paint her up and make it look nice, a set of skyline rims (hopefully), 300zx break upgrade, unlikely but all around coilovers, and even more unlikely - CA18DET drop in.
