So the car’s going in soon for the paint, i need someones help in taking off the trim pieces around the windows? a basic instructions how to, without breaking, I’ve looked at the FSM but got nothing from that.
im sure somone has taken that stuff off before.

If you are talking about the rubber seal that goes around the window, then you just grab an end and pull it off. You will have to reseal it when you put it back on with some type of sealant.
It’s pretty staight forward, I did it when I changed my front windshield.
no no i know just to rip the rubber one off im talking about the metal one!!

I never had to remove any metal one on my S14. I’m not really sure what you are talking about. Do you have a better picture?
its that plastic piece running across the top of the side window and over the quarter window.
its placed over the seals.
I had to change mine when I bought my car… I believe you pull off the rubber stripping, and you’ll see screws right under the molding… Get out a phillips screwdriver and pull em’ out…
